“In my work, I combine ancient techniques with modern materials. I work with sterling silver, gold-filled, anodized niobium, fine silver and Argentium wire. Several of my pieces are accented with Swarovski crystals and pearls, as well as semi-precious stones or colorful glass beads. I tend to rely on hand tools to accomplish most of my work. I try to work as simply and cleanly as possible. To minimize the use of studio chemicals, I prefer fusing or using cold connections to soldering; and I prefer tumble-polished or hand-brushed finishes to an oxidized finish. This makes my work safer for me and for the environment. I create necklaces, pendants, bracelets, watch bands, earrings, rings, key chains and other unique items. Many pieces are original designs. Others are classically inspired. I also create custom pieces upon request.”
