Karin Jacobson began adorning jewelry lovers in 2000 and shortly thereafter, in 2002, she was selected as the Grand Winner of the the prestigious AJDC New Talent Competition. Today, Karin runs a thriving business from her sunny studio in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District in Minneapolis, MN.
Karin is committed to meticulously crafted, beautiful art jewelry and wedding rings. Each piece is handmade in her studio in Minneapolis, with a focus on ethically sourced materials, such as recycled metals and gemstones that are fair trade, recycled, domestically sourced, or purchased from gem buyers who have direct relationships with miners from small, artisanal mines. For her wedding collections, she looks to her Scandinavian heritage for a bold, modern look with clean lines. The wedding collections were first designed in ethical and affordable recycled palladium and Moissanite (a lab-grown alternative to diamond), but are now also available in recycled gold, Canadian-sourced or recycled diamonds, and ethically sourced natural colored gemstones.
