Lorena Lazard is a Mexican artist. She studied contemporary jewelry in the USA and holds a Masters degree in sociology and a B.S. in Agronomy. Her work has been shown in Schmuck Munich, SOFA Chicago and Sieerad The Netherlands. As well as in various museums and galleries worldwide. Her work has been published in Metalsmith and Ornament magazine, and in several books including the 500 Lark books series. She has participated in various curatorial works including the latest in 2018 co-curating “La Frontera: Encounters Along the Border” at the MAD museum in NYC. She is the creator of the contemporary jewelry school “Atelier Lazard” and also teaches at the University CENTRO in Mexico City. Since 2017 she is part of the Connect Council of SNAG (Society of North America Goldsmith) representing Mexico.
